Stormy Sea Neckerchief

"Thick- grey clouds moved across the sky, building a dense- voluptuous ceiling. The wind grew stronger, the waves high and turbulent with every passing minute. A storm was brewing, and the traveller was to face it on his own. As he prepared his boat for the stormy sea, he noticed a gentle spark peeking through the dark and cloudy sky. As the north star shone its light on the lost and lonely traveller, he was reminded of his strength and courage in a moment of great fear and uncertainty."

I decided to paint a series of artworks as a reflection of my life journey and create a visual depiction of ‘All Star Heaven’. The story of a lost and lonely traveller on a journey of self-discovery, sailing through different seasons and environments. The sails on the boat portray the ‘Eye on the North Star’, a symbol I designed as a reminder to always keep my eyes on what is dear and meaningful to me. May this be my loved ones, my passions and dreams.
