As I found myself on a journey with All Star Heaven, feeling the weight of my past on my chest and shoulders, I came to realise that this project came to me to bring clarity into my life. As I felt the impact, I saw myself on the other side of the storm, standing on deck, soaked in water, feeling drained, empty and alone. While I peered at the rising sun, its rays breaking through the grey and cloudy sky, I felt the warmth on my skin. In that moment, the urge overcame my body, to take off all the heavy layers that had been burdening me for so long. I wanted to peel and peel until I reached my core.

As we travel through life, we carry so much with us, unaware of what our experiences can cause and how they impact our future. All Star Heaven unexpectedly led me on a journey of self-exploration. The self I had neglected, burdened and ignored. It made me understand that by not looking deep within and not following my inner compass, I would lose myself in the midst of life’s storms.
